On the front panel you get 2 x 40GbE SFP, ready for copper and fiber connections as your design requires. 40GbE capability provides high-bandwidth links to servers, storage or the network core, which helps prevent bottlenecks. Fiber-ready transceiver slots extend your network across floors, buildings or campuses with the optic of your choice. Fiber connectivity extends reach well past 100 meters and avoids electromagnetic interference. High port density reduces the number of switches you need in each rack, which saves space, power and management effort.

Network administrators get granular control over traffic, security and monitoring through its management interfaces. Layer 3 capability enables routing between VLANs on the switch, reducing load on your router and lowering latency. Built on Dell Networking OS 6 (DNOS6), it shares a consistent operating and management experience with the rest of the product family.
