The PLANET IGS-12040MT is a managed Layer 2+ Gigabit Ethernet switch from PLANET, part of the Industrial series, built for manufacturing floors, smart-city installations and traffic or surveillance cabinets.

On the front panel you get 8 x 1000TP, ready for copper and fiber connections as your design requires. Fiber-ready transceiver slots extend your network across floors, buildings or campuses with the optic of your choice. Fiber uplinks are immune to electrical interference, which makes them a good choice for long runs between wiring closets.
